Worst Tinder Dates / First Dates ?

I can't be alone here. I have had the worst (I've had some good ones too) first dates.

Worst one being in New York. I met a tinder date in a local ice cream store and we brought our ice cream to a park bench to eat it in the sun. A few minutes into the conversation, he went to take his phone his phone out of his pocket and I'm like 'HOLY CRAP IS THAT A GUN?'

Tinder date: *takes it out to show me" "Haha yeah I'm a Cop, you don't like guns?" Points it at me jokingly.
Me: "CAN YOU NOT DO THAT ITS MAKING ME NERVOUS"
Tinder date: "Relax jeez I'm a cop I have to carry it"

    So I move swiftly on.

Me: "Anything weird ever happen in my (quiet Irish) neighborhood?
Tinder Date: "Yeah hold on I'll show you" *Takes out his phone and shows me a gruesome photo of a man that had committed suicide by shooting himself with a bow and arrow.

He had this photo on his phone. Horrific

    Any stories?

Going too enter into the world of online dating soon as I'm lonely and all my mates are with someone

At 27 I feel its time to start thinking about my future but not too enthusiastic about online dating as I've heard bad things. Why can't it be like the old days where you meet ur wife at the local dance or the parish priest sets ye up lol
