Going on my holidays soon and don't want to bring my cumbersome 15" laptop. With the ever changing specs of tablets what would currently be the best internet surfer I could get for in around my price? I know Harvey Normans and Pc world may not offer the best value for money so I have not been looking there.
All last years sh!t is still going there for the same price so no thanks.

    Thanks

    my 2c

i cannot get past the price/spec/quality of the kindle fire tablets. i have 2 in our house and on my recommendation some of my friends have picked one up too.

you will get an 8" kindle for £89 on amazon.co.uk. sideload any apps not on amazon store and your flying. and they are great about support/returns etc.

Aren't those amazon tablets plagued with adverts through out the OS?
