Generic uSD cards

Hi,

Was looking to purchase a micro SD card (64GB) for my phone and have read some conflicting information about the generic/non-branded micro SD cards available on a well known internet auction site.

The concerns relates to the capacity of the cards, possibility of being loaded with viruses/spyware, poor performancs and/or lifespan and compatability with Android OS.

Is there anything in these stories or should I opt for a branded card?

Any recommendations for a provider?

Brands don't really matter as such.

Theres two things to do.

1. Don't buy from eBay. Use a reputable site like Amazon who will refund you if the card is fake.

2. Download hwtest and test every SD card you ever buy.

follow the instructions and format for use in your device . Personally I like the Transcend brand .
