    Hi,

I'm a 3rd year student in Applied Physics & Instrumentation CIT and will be beginning my placement in April and thinking about switching to 1st year physics with astrophysics in UCC this september

Just wondering, what is the maths like there? Ive been scoring high 90s in maths in my current course since 1st year...I'm very good at maths practically but not sure how I would get on in UCC course as I have been advised it's alot different. Last thing I did in maths was fourier transform and I thought that was laborious but enoyable at the same time.
