Kitchens in Limerick

I am from the UK so not familiar with how you get a kitchen over here or what price about. In the UK, its cheaper to buy the kitchen from B&Q, and get appliances from Currys. Just get a kitchen fitter to fit it all. Much cheaper than going to a designer.

Is that the best thing to do in Ireland? I posted something on gumtree looking for a kitchen fitter but not sure what the response is like.

Guess, I am just looking for some advice, tips on what to do.
