Aer Lingus - Most Punctual Short-Haul from Dublin!

    Just seen an Aer Lingus ad, advertising that for every month over the past 12 months they've been the most punctual short haul airline in Dublin Airport!

    Doubt Ryanair are very happy:D

    I suppose its their attempt at getting back in Ryanair's face after the quip regarding the immigration issue!

    Credit where credit is due, their on time performance had slipped to dreadful levels in recent years so it's great to see such a turn around. 

    Aer Lingus has always been one of the better performers at Heathrow too, very often near the top and by far the best of the larger carriers there.

    Not to diminish that, but I imagine it's easier to be on time with a shorter trip compared to other carriers flying in from mainland Europe. Less likely to be hit by flow control delays on the continent also.
