Does your GP know your psychiatric details?

I experienced a bit of minor psychosis a few months ago and checked myself into a psychiatric ward for a few weeks. Will every GP now know that I was at the psychiatric ward? As in is there a centralised database that they can see these details on the computer? It was a very brief once off period of minor psychosis, I'm worried now that if I visit a GP, they'll assume I have psychosis which I don't.
If there is a central database, how does that work, for example John O'Brien is a really common name, so if they checked the computer, they'd see hundreds of John O'Briens.
    Failed to load the poll.
