    Hi All,

    I am looking to Purchase a Mazda Bongo Campervan(pop up roof) but am having difficulty sourcing one!

    Anybody out there know or anyone selling one?

    I have and there are two I'm looking at one is the petrol and the other is diesel they are both getting close to 7000 euro is that a reasonable price??

    Depends on how it is mechanically and structurally I suppose. I'm not that up to speed on them but I know they are sought after and are pretty unique if you're after something like that.

    7,000 is big money for the older ones which go much much cheaper in the UK, although you would have the issue of vrt.

    Mid-engine is a bastard to work on and the last one I looked at was rusted to hell underneath. Overrated.

    I have a Mazda Bongo Im the original owner bought it in Uk brought it home and got it all passed to Irish plates.
    It has just failed its doe on body work and some minor issues
    To get passed will cost 1450 fort the above
    If any one is interested

    Where in the county are you? Did it have a current mot? What work is needed?

    from experience don't buy a thing off mr bongo, pt, pat tuohy on donedeal in Galway, he will rip you off and shut his big fat gates in your face.

    They're normally ones which have been on sale from donedeal from someone else beforehand. He must make them a lowball offer and if they don't shift he buys them and tries to resell or breaks them.
