Dysentery Dublin

Just reading an article in the Irish Times about antibiotic resistant dysentery in Dublin and investigation at a well known Dublin msm venue.

Quite frightening another story of antibiotic resistant bacteria, although venue itself has not been blamed.

But could this infection be prevented by use of Contraception?

Wonder will we be seeing more of these stories due to the mismanagement of antibiotics by people or medical professionals.

It's spread by any fecal-oral route, so not washing hands well enough and touching a door handle will do it, so condoms would not help much (but might slightly curb some cases)

Sounds nasty as hell. Hope they all recover soon.

I'd say there's diseases and bacteria found in Coppers that would be immune to all modern medicine. Or nuclear war.
