Leaf's first service

My Leaf is due for first service next week. What should I expect to be done and what paper work should the garage supply at the end.
Got a nice surprise as it is free due to the delay in delivery last year - yeah:P

They will give you the battery report , rotate tyres, top up washer fluid and probably not replace the pollen filter because it's a free service and will cost money .

Remember the Leaf is due a so called service every year or 30,000 Kms whichever comes first. Don't let them tell you otherwise. Read the manual.

My dealers puts a sticker up for 15,000 kms even though I told them, "naughty naughty" they still do it !

As Mad_Lad said, some of them are chancing their arm with those stickers.
It's worth bringing it up with the service manager if you catch them at it.

You don't need a pollen filter every year. In this country every 2 or 3 years is plenty.

Do ask for a SOH report. My dealer did not bother doing his job and had to comeback again for it...

What mileage have you done for the year so far?

If you are around 15k ask them to rotate your tyres... no need to pay for it elsewhere afterwards

I'm just at 17k, which is higher than what I had done in the old petrol car, when I got it first went mad and put 6000kms on it in the first 6 weeks - it was so nice to drive and cost next to nothing to run

I'm expecting pretty much exactly that to happen to me when I get the car

Ha-ha, I know the feeling ...
We drive now primarily the EV. Thw ICE is a shopping cart and a run around car

Yeah could well be. It's the norm in the US to change it every year.
