While googling for something else i came across this site

    http://www.biodentistrydrvizcarra.com/?s=8&sub=6

On the surface it sorta seems plausible but the continued reference to studies done in the 1920's and 1930' along with the mentions of acupuncture and energy lead me to believe it is nonsense. can any professionals shed some light?

Nonsense and quackery of the highest order. Reading the article, it ticks literally every quackery box going. Whenever you see 'meridians' mentioned in an article, immediately stop reading, safe in the knowledge that you have saved a precious few minutes of your life.
