Any one know of any old fashioned tea rooms/coffee shops, that use old fashioned bone china (the kind your granny would have) in their restaurants? Somewhere around Portlaoise/Mouthrath, would be great, but doesn't have to be there specifically.

I am helping a friend clear out her grannys house. She 3 sets of bone china crockery that are in need of a good home. (They aren't good enough to sell and she doesn't want them to go to a thrift shop.) There are a few retro tea rooms up here in Dublin, that do that kind of thing. They get a lot of their plates, cups, saucers etc from donations. Dublin is too far for her to travel with them, so was wondering if there is anywhere closer to home.

    Ta.
