    Hi guys.
I'm in need of a decent cable tester for work.
Iv used the fluke it a few years ago and found it very good.
Is there anything else out there I should be looking at?
I mostly need it for troubleshooting, locating cables etc.

The Fluke MT-8200-60-kit just seems to be a cable finder/toner. Not very useful for testing cables wiring. If you want something basic and want to have a cable tester (will show correct wiring, basic shorts etc. this one from Fluke would do. Many other cheaper makers of these btw, Fluke is great but if your only testing a handful of cables personally then get something cheaper

Get a Pockethernet. Cheap and does plenty enough unless you need to produce reports showing frequencies etc. You can also buy a toner probe if you need that feature as the pockethernet generates the tones but just doesn't come with a probe.
