Does anyone know any shop in Dublin doing a reasonably decent road bike in this sort of finish, ie black/carbon type look, either subtle logos or no logos on the frame
Budget not huge maybe 500/600, less is good too :-)
I know cosmetics not the most important part of choosing a bike, but I do like that finish
Not eligible for cycle to work
Second hand would ok as well, but prefer new

What frame size are you after?

    I am 5'10"
From what I know, I think around the 55cm mark is right
I'm aiming to do a few triathlon type events this summer, and the training that goes with that. Dont want to go super pricy. I do already cycle, but its a Brompton foldy-er-upper :-)

I have a black matt black Ribble that I am building up. I was going to remove the decals, so it would be just as you describe - stealthy black

9 speed Tiagra/Sora groupset, 55 cm top tube - so size wise probably just right

It's basically the same as the one in the link below, but as i am building it up just now I could finish it with all black, eg bar tape and saddle, and without decals it would just be plain black

Frame is in excellent nick, with just about no marks

    I'd be looking €425

Let me know what you think

No worries. Just to be clear, this is a used frame- albeit in very good condition

I'm putting a 10 spd Tiagra groupset on this now, so consequently will be looking for €525
