PS4 fussy with HDMI?

Is the PS4 fussy over what HDMI leads it uses?

I have noticed a few more of my HDMI leads wont work with my PS4 but they work fine with the Xbox/Sky Box/Android Box/Mini Nes etc but when I have them on the PS4 then I get a constant loop on my TV of No Signal then to blue screen etc.

I have tested all the cables and all are perfect, the lead I got with the ps4 no longer works with it and the only HDMI lead it works with now is the one I got with my Xbone. Has anyone noticed this??

I'd say it's more a case of a dodgy HDMI port than anything.

I've seen this before in my friends house and it was actually the TV, just didn't like the PS4s auto resolution scaler for whatever reason...

Try putting the PS4 in safe mode and booting that way...

But should it not be faulty across all cables? Like on the Xbox One HDMI cable It never once acted up it has always displayed 100% of the time.
3 of the HDMI cables are cheap Dealz ones all of which work on all other devices (One of them is slightly grainy on the xbox).
1 is the original PS4 cable, this one will work if I power up in to the safe mode with no issues and when it tries to boot into the PS4 system is when it plays up in the loop.

After checking its not the actual cable then this would be my assumption, you may still get cables that work as they may just fit better but fieldogs comment above is from experience so its worth a shot to play with the settings.

I have dude, the cables work with no issue when in safe mode but as soon as it gets into the PS4 menu its just loops with a no signal error on the TV.

Can you stick it to the lowest option from safe mode menu?

Can you try it on a different TV to turn the RGB auto mode off?

Lowest display option? Yes I tried all them and still the same boot thingy.

Yeah well I can get to it on my TV with the xbox lead in so I will turn RGB mode off and see if that helps. But if RGB off is default then its currently off :P
