Building works in kilcock

I was wondering does anyone know what works are going out past the little chapel in kilcock. I travel that way to work but its always dark when i'm passing going or coming to work.

i believe its a new housing estate it seems to conect to the other side on the maynooth rd beside the canal

I think it's the Kilcock Outer Ring Road.

From west to east, it will start as a 4th exit from the roundabout on the R148 nearest the M4/J8 (beside Musgraves distribution centre), west of Kilcock. It will then join up as a 4th exit on the R158 (Summerhill Road) and continue along a realigned route close to or on the R125 route to where the T junction is near the little chapel.

AFAIK, it continues on through where you can see the works taking place before connecting up with the R148 Maynooth Road just before where the R148 diverges with the canal.

There is also another small bypass to be built which will go from immediately north of the little chapel to the roundabout at Lidl.

McGarrell Reilly are doing it. They have planning for 150 houses and a second application for 180 more. They have to do major floodworks as it is notorious for flooding there and the ring road.
