What spray do lads use instead of lime on outdoor cubicles?
Have been using lime while the weather was good but with the rain that is falling this week I'd say it will be a waste of time. Cheers

We lime daily when milkers are on them. Generally get a chance some part of the day. If not we don't get too bothered.
We line daily when cows go dry for 2 weeks till they seal and from then on we just clean down daily

Are those passages scraped or flood cleaned?

    Scraped
Auto or tractor? How many times a day are they scraped? They look very clean in the pictures possibly after heavy rain?

    Peracitic acid once a week.
    Sprayed on with knapsack

Is that a suggestion or do you do it?

OAD with a tractor. If milking cows on it twice. That pic was a 5pm, they were scraped at 2pm.

No rain here today, well in daylight hours anyway

do it but knot routinely. would do it if freshly dried cows are going on to the cubicles. first year using it.
once a week i done the pen in old shed where mastitis cows were kept.
was having a problem and seemed to help, same cows kept getting mastitis, butcouldnt get them clear for long enough to dry off.

    Kowtow
putting 500ml in 15l of water in knapsack.
not sure if that is the correct rate, might be a bit strong:rolleyes:
