Would you be better off going to Brighton SEO rather than this?

You'd pick up a day training course and a Brighton SEO ticket for under £500. http://www.brightonseo.com/training/

I would be very dubious about anything that promotes "grey-hat" SEO or "proven internet marketing trends and tactics that have never been heard or revealed before". £1000 for a ticket and I don't know any of the speakers, either. Not a chance.

For an extra few hundred you'd get to MozCon in July in Seattle, or to SMX in London in May probably cheaper.
