Immersion timer option?

Ok, looking to put timer onto Immersion. I have a dual zone system with oil boiler but I just find I can't get the same water temp with oil system. I have a plumber coming to finish a job and will get him to review but I also want a timer on my immersion in case it doesn't work

Electrician onsite in next week and he is going to fit. The issue is house is bungalow and immersion tank is in main hall and outside main room door.

The electrician was about to install one of the below but even he said it was too chunky and would look a mess: http://www.ie.screwfix.com/lap-mechanical-24-hour-immersion-timer-240v.html

Just wondering is there electronic timer I could use? or something a bit smaller? Spent a fortune doing up house and dont want a big awkward switch stuck in middle of greeting area

    Thanks
