This might sound like a silly question to some but Id love some help either way. Me and my girlfriend have been in austrailia the past few years and have been able to save up some money while we have been here. We have been in two mind where to settle or to move back to Ireland but decided to move home later this year due to a number of factors. I've had a bid accepted on a house that we want to buy and will be sending money home to purchase the property. We originally wanted to get a loan for half but its a nightmare to get a mortgage from here so we will end up using nearly all our savinngs but obviously wot be in a bad situation.
Im just wondering should i be worried about any hidden costs tht might pop up by buying from money earned abroad?
