I used to have a samll CB radio - way back in the 1980s - it was always a lot of fun. Does CB still exist? Is it possible to listen online?

CB still exists but not many use 40 channel sets any more. Most of "CB" nowadays is illegal operation between the 11m CB band and the 10m amateur band in a space that was supposed to be left unused for research etc. There is a bit of activity on it when conditions allow.

If you want to listen online you can try websdr.org for the amateur bands.

The CB bands were buzzing like mad, lots of teenagers and people in their 20's and when the internet took hold it wiped it out.

Then there was ocean free and widemouth..........

It was fun chatting rather than typing on forums.
