Upgrading a basket gas fire to a more efficient system

    Hi all.

    Living in a 12 year old house with a 6.3 x 4m sitting room. Only one radiator in the room and a basket style gas fire that is very inefficient. I would love to replace this with a gas fire or stove. Does anyone have any experience with this or recommendations? I would just want it for heating the room. Vents in the room already.

    Everything is possible.
    Do you want solid fuel or a gas stove.?

    We would like a gas fire or gas stove. I'm wondering if anyone would have experience with this.
