Thermostats not working

    Hello Folks,

I recently bought a second-hand house and I noticed that the thermostats are not working.

I have two, downstairs and upstairs. In the hot press I have three valves (upstairs, downstairs, immersion). I think the problem is that the thermostats and the valves have no electrical power. I checked the cables and they look connected and I don't see any dedicated fuse and/or switch in the fuse box.

Any idea on how to troubleshoot the system?

    Thanks!

Do you have a time clock for the heating of each zone

at the moment I turn on/off the gas boiler manually and the actuator valves have always been disconnected but I want to fix the thermostat as my house gets very warm upstairs and remains cold downstairs, so need to turn the zone valves manually to close the upstair zone and concentrate the heating power downstairs. but this cannot go ahead longer :)

I forgot to mention that there is a thermostat on the immersion cilinder as well.

    thank you for your help!

The thermostats open and close the zone valves.you cannot get the thermostats to work until you fix the zone valves

the main issue is that the thermostats/zone valves have no electric power...do you know how I can troubleshoot that?
