If a VAT registered Irish trading company purchases computer equipment from another member state trader, and the equipment is not for resale but for fulfilment of the admin duties of the company, am I correct in assuming they can get a simultaneous input credit for the Reverse Charge T1 provided the admin function which the computers are in relation to are supporting a fully deductible trading activity?
The goods are not for resale.

If the acquisition is as you described, entirely for your business, you are entitled to claim the deducitible.
