I'm currently renovating a 1970s bungalow. I'm now at the stage of looking for windows and doors which I'm finding very difficult.
What should I be looking for when choosing windows and front and back doors. I don't have a very high budget for these.
Is there any site online where I could upload photos of the house to see what the house would be like with the windows as I'm finding it very difficult to visualise anything else expect for the windows that are there

Google Sketchup might help if you can work up a profile of the front / rear of the house and play with different window styles they have in there. Not aware of any manufacturers offering the service you described though. You could try a paint program if you can input the picture of your house and scale a few window designs (crop some screenshots) to fit & give you an idea?

if you're on a tight budget probably best to go for double glazed PVC. You can visit a showroom to get ideas for colours that would suit your house. PVC has the added advantage of never needing maintenance down the line inside or outside
