Clearway Supersession (Dublin City Parking)

Quick query I can't seem to find a concise answer to – do clearway signs supersede other road signs/markings, such as double yellow lines or cycling lanes? I see conflicting markings on a constant basis (clearway sign on yellow lines, white-line cycle lanes etc.).

I found a 10-16:00 clearway-free sign in a bus lane & the same on the other side (but with double yellow lines), curious whether or not I could park on either side without being clamped (figured the bus lane will be fine regardless). Handy parking on a quick trip to the city.

Clearway (when operational) supersedes other restrictions.

You cannot stop to pick up or set down a passenger on a clearway, that's the big difference between a clearway and double-yellow lines. Doesn't stop taxi drivers doing it but that's the rule. The fines for infringements are also bigger.

And when the clearway is operational, you have a very high chance of being lifted, dropped into a sidestreet and then being clamped.

The way I see it with cycle lanes is that clearways make them stronger, not that they conflict with them.
