A faulty Stanley lismore?

I have a lismore, installed Dec 2016. It hasn't been right from day 1. An engineer has been out twice. I have had it checked independently, no issue with chimney draw or direct air supply. The fire wouldn't stay lit when door was closed. Engineer adjusted the damper so it was opening further (does this negate the safety feature on the boiler stove?). Now when we are fully open it's a decent flame but not a roaring fire and there is no heat to room or boiler, even burning coal. Wind is roaring through it, and ash is flying about inside. Could there be something wrong with the stove?

I too have a Lismore installed for past 3 years...I cannot get it to either heat the room or radiators. I've had people from Stanley....nothing wrong with installation. I've been onto Stanley regularly over the past 3 years and no further on...I am so dissapointed.

I fitted a the same stove in may 2016. I was warned to make sure the flue was to the specs of the stove. After breaking out the old fire place the old 9 inch flu was in bits so we relined it with 6 inch flexible to about 5MTRs high. From day one it was perfect. Standard two story semi and while it might take about two hours to get the rads to a decent temp it will heat three doubles upstairs and three doubles and one mini rad down. That's pretty much on it spec limit. My dad has the bigger Erin stove and he often has the same issue with the draw and heat created but his flue is 9inch which will not create the same velocity of air flow as the 6 inch lined thus not drawing as much oxygen.

Can I ask if the engineer did air flow measurements with the room closed (windows/doors shut) then open ?

My dad's house is newer than mine with better Insulting/draft proofing but this also limits the air flow to feed the stove. The stove itself is rarely the problem. It's a lump of metal, the environment it's in is more than likely the issuse

Sorry one more thing. Can you out pipe thermostats on the flow and return of the stove just to see it live heating the water. I'll send you a link of cheap ones I got from eBay. I normally have about a 15 degree difference between to flow/return. Also is the water pumped away from the stove or are you relying on a gravity feed
