Bought a house a few months ago (built late 90s) with a newish condenser boiler and controls but seems to be original immersion/hot water tank. Bought a house a few months ago (built late 90s) with a newish condenser boiler and controls but seems to be original immersion/hot water tank. Anyway the problem is when the gas boiler is on hot water and then shuts off there's a loud bang from the tank in hot press. It seems to be getting louder and there's also some random surging water noises when heating.

Any ideas?
