    Hi All

I'm hoping to draw on some of your knowledge

Firstly Im looking to buy a second watch I already have a Daniel Wellington watch and looking to get something a little more casual. From what I've seen online I like the look of some of the seiko watches. My price range would be max 300e. I understand I might be limited in the quality I can get for that price

What recommendations would you have? One thing I should mention is that my wrists are fairly spindly so I suppose something not overly large would suit.

I want to buy online and have looked on creationwatches, there are huge reductions there. Does anyone know how they are able to offer such decent prices? Any other recommendations when buying online? Anything you think might be helpful?

    I'm a male btw
    Thanks

With Seiko you'll have plenty of choice at that range and it'll be worth every penny. Can't really go wrong with the oul Seiko. Beyond that I"m about as much use as a chocolate kettle, but no doubt actual decent advice will be along shortly. Actually there may be some nice watches in the vintage arena at that kinda money… Where spindly wrists are a positive. *thinks* *ponders some more* :)

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I have thin wrists and for a long time could never imagine wearing anything chunky but I got used to the Seiko SK in no time at all – I certainly wouldn’t rule out a diver just because you have small wrists.

Is there any way you can post images of some watches you like? They can be of any price range - just to give a people an idea of what things you have in mind. After that you may get some suggestions for suitable similar looking watches in your price range.

Has anyone bout from this site? There are huge reductions, almost seems too good to be true

Creation are great it remember that those prices are duty free
I've found that if you use the courier you will have to pay duty on import but if you select regular post there is only a 25% chance you will have to pay duty
If you get hit for duty it's about 40 max euros plus 23% of the price
It still worth it in many cases

    Thanks for your response

I'm looking at the seiko skx series for example, this seems to be 200 dollars everywhere. The reduced price is 200 dollars on the site.

Are the reductions just the prices just without duty? Also so you know what the duty % is?

I have the pepsi version of the one in your last link, great watch with solar quartz movement and great lume but it is not wear small.

I've no experience with Creation Watches and their prices so can't offer any help there, but if you're half looking at the SKX range - they do wear OK size wise on smaller wrists. I have 6.5" wrists and I have one and it's fine.

Didn't Unkel have a lovely Seiko sumo up for sale here and in adverts a fews back, in and around your budget?
Have a gander on adverts or a few posts back on the for sale section

    Hi all

Thanks for your input. I'm probably going to order the seiko sna 411 flightmaster in the coming days. I've seen good things online about it.

I'm not a huge fan of the metal bracelet. Does anyone have advice on the best place to get a quality nato strap?

Use the pictures at the top to pick overall style, then use the options on the right to narrow your search down.

    I've got a few from http://natostrapco.com/

AFAIK price includes shipping. I think SKX are 22mm?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Thanks for that.

Has anyone worn the SNA411? Ive had a look online and they do seem to suit a smaller wrist.
