Internal door sill help

2 quick questions on installing an internal door sill at junction of tile and laminate (they are flush). The gap from floor surface to door is 18mm. Are there pre-made wooden sills that are that thin? and what would be the recommended width of sill for that gap?

and how best to secure the sill to floor? Countersink screws directly into the laminate and also drill and rawlplug into tile? or is that a no-no?

    Thanks for any advice.
