Motherboard question

    Hi. I'm building my first pc and I was looking at the Asus Maximus viii hero motherboard. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or do you have any recomendations for a motherboard similar that will take an Intel 7700k cpu. Thanks.

    If it's a Z170 chipset technically it'll still work. All you need is a sexy looking Z270 board.

    Any 200 series board will be fine, get a Z270 if you want to overclock.

    Normally any board above €100 or so is only useful to those who want specific features on it
