60-40 Khan would be a fair split imo. I don't care that Brook is the champion he has defended the belt against dross, Khan is a bigger name.

70/30 Khan and Khan to shutout Brook would make my Boxing year. Although I'm still hoping for him to fight Spence and get his ass handed to him.

Brook beats Khan. A couple of years ago i would have picked Khan to win, but not now.

Brook would wipe Khan out. They're on different levels at this point.

He still has to catch him. If he can't catch him he is in for a competitive fight. Khan will need to be a runner to secure a win. Brook is not brilliant. Little slow on the feet. Could he land a counter to end it? Of course. Give Khan a big enough ring and Brook will find it difficult to walk Khan down.

It's quite possible that Brook could KO Khan but what has he shown so far that he can do it? He has KO'd a load of cans. I don't think it's that simple for Brook, I'm not saying he couldn't KO Khan but Khan could definitely outbox him. Anyway this fight will unfortunately never happen.

I agree. I would lean with Brook, but that's more to do with Khan being a spent force, and really he was never a force to begin with. Bit of a toss up for me. Brook has talents and skills, but he has fought nobody apart from Porter. The GGG fight he lost in decisive fashion.

Yeah he did, but the shots he connected with in that fight would be enough to stop Khan.
A few years ago Khan would have out boxed Brook, now i think Brook catches him and Khan wont be able to take it. Perhaps Khan is pricing himself out of the fight because he fears losing to his arch rival?

But against GGG he was able to think, plant his feet and put full power into the shots. GGG wasn't overly concerned with defense, and he was there to be tagged. Khan will be a runner and will employ range and movement.

That's true, GGG did not really respect Brook's power, so he was a fairly easy target to hit. However, i still think Brook will catch up with Khan at some stage. If Khan had a good chin i would fancy him to win this, but he hasn't, and with all the damage he has taken over the years his punch resistance is even worse now. So Brook doesn't even have to catch him with huge shots to win this in my view.

Decently timed clean connections should be enough. A clear Khan points win would not at all surprise me here. I like Brook, and he has such a smooth style, but he's not brilliant. I think his slow feet in the forward mode may be his undoing.

Brook has very overrated power too. Khan's chin is obviously China and Brook probably has enough to blow him out with one punch, but it's an intriguing fight even after the beatings Khan has taken. Golovkin's opponents are known to look shadows of themselves when the fight next. But then again that Canelo KO was huge. I have a feeling Khan will get too emotional and try and brawl with Brook though. If he sticks to a Mayweather approach I'd fancy him.

I don't think many see Brook as being a monster hitter at all. He has decent power, but power/KO ability is not something most associate with him. Hurtful puncher when he sits down on the shots...

I saw a clip recently of him whacking Johnny Nelsons body. Johnny had the body protector on, but Jesus the shots he was throwing were stunning, and looked so heavy.

I'd agree with you there but the problem with Khan is that he cannot do this for the full 12 rounds. He never has. He might be on his bike for 3 rounds or so but eventually he will try and fight on the inside and stand toe to toe and try and do the macho thing and will get sparked as usual. That's his approach for most fights but without doubt against a domestic rival such as Brook he will stand there and trade.

The ducking and diving of Kell Brook surrounding the Spence mandatory is really disappointing.

Khan has become a parody outside the ring outlining stupid demands for this fight and showing his renowned hand-speed in a recently leaked 'sextape'.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm caring less and less about this fight. The politics turns you off and the fight is over-marinated / stale. It must be nearly 5 years ago that they were on Ringside having an argument with each other about who will win the fight.

    Pro boxing!
