    newbie at this,

Have a Skylight in the en-suite with tunnel running through the attic to a Velux window.

Recently pointed out that there is no insulation on the back of the plasterboard in the attic. Attic is floored and used for storage.

Just started researching, wondering what best and straight forward approach would be insulate for a basic DIYer
    1. Earthwool
    2. PIR or Rigid foam boards which I think would be easy to cut and fit into the spaces.

How would it be held in place - tape along the existing wood work and spaced vertical batons

is it ok to insulate all 4 sides of the tunnel?
anything else or no nos to consider?

    Any advice or pointers appreciated

    cheers
    Whitey

Rigid insulation would be the best option
It needs to be cut very tight and also tape all joints to stop air
