Trenched through site after site but still undecided.appreciate any advice here. Looking for a 10" android tablet which should be able to handle hd ts streams. Using a nexus 7 (2013) for last few years but whilst it streams local content in sd no problem it just refuses to stream in hd as cpu struggled under the strain.not software issue but seems hardware limitation

    Hi,
I'm looking for an Android 10'' Tablet too. Popped in here thinking it would be full of answers, but alas.
Have you any idea about which one you might get? I was having a look at different ones here - perhaps this site might be of use to you:

Bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" for the folks at Christmas. Cost was EUR230 from PC World at the time.

1200x1920 screen, 2Gb RAM, 16Gb flash, takes micro SD.
    Runs Android 6.
Thought it was a great machine for the money.

Thanks for that. My wife had a Samsung Galaxy before (well actually she still has) and what annoys me about Samsung Galaxy and the reason that I will never buy another one is not once was the o/s ever updated despite Samsung statements saying that it would be.

Sorry to hijack but I'm also in the same boat. Although looking at one for my Aunt for basic web browisng and netflix. Was looking at these two:

The tab 3 says 2GB ram in description but under the Q and A on the page an argos representative says:

I have looked into your query and can confirm that the Lenovo Tab 3 10.1 Inch has:-
    RAM : 1 GB
    Internal Storage : 8 GB

cant find much more info on it.

I think the tab 3 only has 1gb whilst the tab 2 has 2gb.

I got a tab 2 for the mother she seems happy enough with it, haven't used it much myself but 2gb ram and decent screen makes it good for media. Think it was €110 or €130 in Tesco Extra at the time but they're probably all gone. 16gb and takes an SD card so better than the tab 3 IMO.

Another family member got the Galaxy one mentioned above which is a bit nicer and better but cost about €100 more, double nearly. Think that's gone up to €270 again last time I checked.
