    Energy Action are hosting their 6th Annual Fuel Poverty and Climate Action Conference on the 6th of March in Croke Park. The key theme focuses on the link between fuel poverty and climate change with guest speakers Prof. John Sweeney of Maynooth NUI, Dr. Brenda Boardman of Environmental Change Institute and Eco-Theologian Fr. Sean McDonagh.

    There is a discussion on Health and Energy Poverty. Malachy Corcoran from the Department of Health and Ken Cleary from the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment will explain how a warm, dry and cosy home can lead to improvements in health.

    Furthermore, there are workshops available to open up dialogue between speakers and attendees on a variety of subjects from behavioural change to sustainable energy communities.
