Anybody know a club or pilot who would bring me for a flight in a Piper Cub. Any where in lreland North or South. It's a life's ambition of mine and also l'd love to take a trip in a glider some day

I'm aware of about 18 Cub-family aircraft in the south and a couple in the north but the majority are PPL owners and so not available for hire & reward services. You'd have to come to a non-renumerative arrangement with the pilot.

However have you contacted the Dublin Gliding Club at Gowran Grange EIGN?

They have gliders and a pair of Cub tugs. I don't know if they can offer flights in the Cubs but might be worth checking.

North & South I can think of 8 Super Cubs. All different from the early Super Cubs with the C90 engine and no flaps to the bigger 180hp Cubs.

There is a J3 cub based at EISG. The owners were both CFIs at some stage, worth a try. The scenery from a Cub in the north west is magic.

They are old aircraft and very special to some. They are what is known as tail draggers with two main wheels and a small tail wheel. They are high winged which means you have all the views in the world to see. To fly tail draggers you need an extra endorsement on your flying licence as they require an extra level of skill sets . I hope your not trolling and genuinely asking
