Android Running App Query

I do a bit of running now and again, I could go 3 times per week but then maybe only twice in the next month. I would like to train for a 10 mile run which is coming up in a few months. I have a few running apps on my phone which I use that have a training plan. Most of these advise to run at 75 per cent pace and so on in various runs. My question is.....is there any app on the market than can advise if I am going to fast or slow, my current apps tell me after each km or so. I know there are watches that people use but I really don't want to purchase one and an app would suffice. Thanks

I use a free android one called running cadence, there are a few available. You work out the pace you want to set it at, for the time you want and it will tell you when you are on the mark or need to speed up or slow down. It's a bit strange insofar as it doesn't always work unless its on your arm, although I usually wear a sleeveless running jacket with a chest pocket and it works in there.

Cheers I'll have a look at it.
