    Hi all,

We have our wedding booked in Galway & do not have a priest. We lived there years ago but we did not know our parish priest. Has anyone any idea what is the normal practice with a church wedding outside your own parish? Can I simply call a pries & ask him to help out?

We got married outside our local parishes and we brought a priest in (family friend).
You can call the local priest there and ask him to do it or bring in your own priest if they will allow that.
