Went to a car wash this morning and the car came out minus a red T from TDI, where can the letters be bought in Dublin? I couldn't be arsed setting up an ebay account to get them from China in 12-24 working days for €2.99, me, motor factors, hand over an amount, get letter, job done. Little or no patience as I quit smoking yesterday so cleaning out the car and getting it washed was part of my therapy, ie nice fresh ash and smell free car for the first time in years!

    TDi.
    Must be something special !

Would you consider a 'downgrade' to chrome ?

    If so,

You could plasti dip your own ones if you have them or ebay is your friend.

Downgrade? CHROME?? Are you mad, it wouldn't be as quick!! :)

Nah if they all have to come off there is nothing going back on. If I could find the missing t with ease then I would have done it.

I think the missing letter is at the bottom of a drain in a car wash

Some sign companies offer what is called 'doming' services. Might be worth a try.

Might do that actually, need to find a driver's seat but finding a Mkll Leon FR can be a nightmare. I'd not be going to the hassle for the missing t but there's a few bits I need come to think of it. Cheers

I didn't really want to be going to a main dealer looking for such a minimal part being honest, I can picture it being like that scene out of the two ronnies! 4 candles, no fork handles!!!!

You should get an ///M badge while you're at it. I hear it adds 20bhp:D

Just ring them, give reg of car, they'll order it in. That's what they do all day!

You'll get all 3 letters together stuck in a foam spacer so you wont stick them on wrong.

could have had, it was black and located in castlerea when I saw it.

On another note I'm nearly certain the white daysul rs4 has landed to my local town

So I didn't need to get it mapped after all??!! Doh!!

So I emailed a Seat Dealer in Lucan, just off the M4 heading westbound before the Weston/Celbridge turn off on the left with the parts I needed, I also asked them about changing a tandem pump and timing belt and I have heard nothing back, tried phoning them but have had no answer and I passed them the other day heading the opposite way and the lights were all on.

I think I might go down the Chinese eBay route and forget about the real "McCoy"......ay ay, see what I did there??!! Ohhhhh :D

bit late to the party.. but

the likes of Aliexpress / Alibaba have all those car badges etc, usually for tiny money.

Only problem is that shipping form China can take 4 - 8 weeks
