Window sensors - any recommendations?

So, I reckon I could cut out 90% of my use of the Netatmo app ( I have 2 zones controlled with Netatmo stats) if I could fit a cheap IFTTT compatible "window open" sensor.

Any recommendations out there? (I did a search but saw no specific threads about window sensors)

Battery powered, although I assume any that exist are battery powered?

Looks like it would be just cheaper to have 1 or 2 Amazon Echo Dots rather than 2 switches/buttons and the associated hub.
Or buy some esp8266s and go DIY ( cheaper if your time is worthless ).
