I sent in my first form for ilness benefit last monday. I'm just wondering how long it take for payment to start? also what day it gets paid on.

The first 6 days of illness benefit isnt paid.

yes I have applied from the 10th. just wondering is there a delay in processing the claim

You will receive a letter in the post from illness benefit when its awarded stating the amount you are getting. If you dont hear anything from them by tomorrow you should give them a buzz.
