    Hi,

My mother uses a Sony Xperia, it's about 3 years old and getting glitchy.

She wants something similar in size - ie not larger than 4.5-5"

    I'm thinking Moto G?

Is there anything else I should be considering.

    She'll be on Vodafone.

Won't go far wrong with the Moto. Size within spec and pretty bullet-proof. Wrap it in an otterbox, and you've a weapon.

    What about a Moto E?

If the Moto G isn't acceptable to her, I'll look into that thanks, but seeing as I've a Moto G literally lying around I'll go with that first.

If ya already have the G that should do perfectly. Such a cracking phone for the price.

do a factory reset on the phone and the glitchyness will more than likely disappear and the phone be back like new
