I've repointed an interior stone wall, there is mortar marks etc on all the stone but not heavy ones, is there any sealer etc I can put on that portrays the stone look and hides the light mortar marks and dusty look.

What sort of mortar mix did you use? Is it all lime based or cement & lime? What sort of stone? Personally I've seen sealer type coatings on stone and I think it defeats the purpose of having the natural stone exposed. If you like the look of the natural stone, and the mortar marks are light, get a wire brush and a touch of water and gently scrape them. With that and time, I suspect they'll merge.

Ive used cement and lime, I hear you about keeping the stone effect, water and wire brush is a last resort as there is a good bit of stone to be done with timber flooring below it. Maybe use a water vacuum cleaner as I go but it would be a balls of a job, I'm looking for a magic potion really.....

Maybe there is one - some of the hardware shops sell cleaners for this type of application. No idea how effective they area. Suspect that elbow grease may be yer only man.
