Anyone milk an Irish Moilie x friesian/holstein?

Did anyone here ever cross a Moiled onto a friesian or Holstein or jersey?

Just thinking about the cross and what it would be like?
I suppose the cross would have no horns and being dual purpose should have enough of milk if crossed with a high yielding cow?

Anyway just thinking about it on a Sunday afternoon and wondering if anyone seen one or heard tell of a cross?

Mr G Stockdale in Downpatrick breeds them. They also have a to die for herd of British Friesans with the herd prefix "Castledale"

Walked the herd and must say the Moiled were nice dairy looking cows, a little smaller in stature than the friesians, but certainly weaker on protein. Yield slightly shoes of the friesians also, but these black and whites were pumping a serious amount of milk..

I wasn't sure if there was anyone milking them (commercially?).

But looking at a clip from the society on YouTube they said there was a cow giving (I think) 1800 gallons back in the 1920's.
Pity breeders couldn't keep that going if that was the case.

I must look more into Mr.Stockdale.
    Thanks Alps.
