Revenue Online Delay

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else is experience a delay with Revenue Online? I updated details on the 12/01/2017 on My Account, but my account has yet to be updated. Anytime I've logged in, the screen for the year I've updated just reads 'Unfortunately we cannot process your Request. Please contact PAYE Anytime on ... or alternatively, select another year'.

Just wondering if there's a delay as it's the beginning of the year, or if I should call Revenue myself? Any other time I've dealt with the online system, everything has gone through pretty quickly, but it's usually later in the year too!

    Thank you

They've said they can't process your request so I can't imagine waiting will make any difference. Ring them and see what's going on.

I updated something on MyAccount on Monday and it was processed by Friday.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if it was a backlog and that it would take another few days to go through or not, that's why I asked

Logon and go to My Enquiries and send them an email , it is a fast way of contacting them .

I also seem to be waiting for MYAccount to show up requested changes. Also as they've changed how 2017 is processed online, I now find that I cannot add on a Health expenses credit for my employer provided healthcare which is subject to BIK.

That's because Health Expenses and Medical Insurance aren't the same thing. If you have been claiming this relief under health expenses all along, youve been doing it wrong.

the tax credit you are looking for is Medical Insurance Relief. Health expenses are as they sound, the likes of prescribed drugs / medicines, doctors visits etc. And they can only be claimed once the year has ended.
