Can anyone advise me how exactly to get to DCU's GAA pitches - do I drive on down Ballymun Rd (past the usual turn for DCU if coming from M50) and then into the Park??? And where to then?
    Thanks

Yes, go through the major junction and then through the next set of lights. DCU grounds are on your left but the GAA fields are on your right about another 400 yards. You'll be on a one way road (ballymun road) and cant cross over so you need to go on down and do a loop and come back up the other side of the one way system and there is a turn off just before the esso petrol station (you'll see this as you go past the first time).

The grounds are set back from the road and not very well sign posted. As you drive down Ballymun Rd, (after the Collins Ave, turning for DCU,) Albert College Park will be on your left. Continue down past the park, to the intersection of Griffith Ave & Ballymun Rd. It's a bit of a weird junction. There will be a a cluster of shops (and a funeral home) on your right. Turn right there. Turn right again, immediatly after. After you have turned right , stay in the left lane, to go straight back up Ballymun Rd again. St Michaels House school will be on your left. The driveway for the DCU pitches will be on the left, just after that. Look for the sign that says Glasnevin Lawn Tennis Club. It's the same drive way for the DCU pitches. The Esso petrol station is next door, if you go past it, you have gone too far.
