Was thinking of selling my massey 35x. Have original tax book here for it and it's going great. Had engine done 4 years ago and got a complete real high quality restore. Was sand blasted back to bare and painted. New tyres all around too. What sort of money would it be worth

Probably worth 3k or 3.5 at a push. Probably worth more to keep it? Are you looking at buying another tractor instead?

Restoration quality is a very subjective thing, so don't be disappointed or offended if someone else's opinion isn't the same as yours. Also people tend to inter change the terms refurbishment and restoration, even though they are different things, so word any advertisements in a smart way!

When buying, people often use these as a bargaining tactic, even if there own standard mightn't be great anyway

A genuine 'x' model, rebuilt engine, fresh paint, good tyres, original Irish reg with tax book... probably around the €3000 mark would be a realistic selling price, what you choose to advertise it for is up to you, but I would expect to sell it in or around €3000

Yeah it would be good quality. I haven't been looking around lately but has the whole demand for vintage tractors slowed away down?. I was offered €5000 after I restored it and didn't take it because wasn't Intrested in selling it 😭😭

I'd keep it if I were you. Couldn't sell the old yokes here. One the grandfather got and the other the old man.
They're worth more to me in sentimental value
