Does anyone know what hours the disc parking is operational on Eccles Street near the Mater Private? Or where I might find this out?

I've googled it, and have just found info on the different colour zones, but times vary street by street.

I know that Eccles St in front of the main Mater building is paid up to 7pm (not sure if that is 7 days or weekdays) and the road opposite the Mater entrance - Nelson st I think its called - you have to pay all the time as far as I remember.

Get on Street View. You can zoom into the signs. 7-7 Mon - Sat is paid and its not disc parking, its pay & display from the machines or parking tag.

The side roads around the Mater are often of different times, a quick look showed me a few 830 - 630 Mon - Fri, some 7 - 7 Mon - Fri and 7 - 7 Mon - Sat. Have a good look and check the signs when you park.

    Thanks for that.

I used disc parking in the generic sense, should have said P&D

It's actually Sat night / Sunday hours I was wondering about.

Bit suspicious of streetview, as that's not bang up to date, and I know the hours can change.

Was hoping to find out before I decide whether to bring the car or not!

Anyway, as long as it's not 24/7 (being close to a hospital I wondered was that a possibility) it'll be grand.

    Thanks for the replies!

There's parking around the Temple Theatre/St George's Church beside Temple St Hospital that only charges between 9 and midday if you are lucky enough to find a spot.
