Hi folks, I have been planning a fence for a bit and I came across this. Could anyone please advise what I might make this out of ? I was thinking perhaps treated pine, but I'd need to do a fair bit of sanding to get the sleek look I'd imagine. thanks

The only way to get a 'sleek' look is to run the wood through a thicknesser. If you don't have one a local joiner might oblige. Otherwise pressure treated softwood would be the most economical but that of course is rough.
