Circles of Condensation

    Hi all,

I'm renting a self contained unit currently and am having trouble with circles of damp on the walls. They're spread all over the external walls in the bedroom and are about 2-3 Inches in diameter. All my landlord keeps telling us is to keep windows open which does not help at all. The only thing that even moderately helps is keeping the heat on at all times which gets really expensive. A couple of vents were also installed which had no effect and in the past weeks has seemed to get worse as mould is starting to appear in places now. Does anyone know what could be causing this or any ideas on how to resolve the issue?

    Dry lining fixings

Drylining is notorious for simply hidden damp and mould.

Thank you. I'll look into that

There is a huge amount of this shoddy work being done and getting grant aided too.
Slap an insulated board onto any old wall and the job is oxo type of attitude.

The OP is silent on the wall construction but my guess is it the metal fixings for the insulated board to comply with the fire regs.

OP is also silent on the amount of moisture vapour generated in the unit
